Upgrade your pool skimmer with a heavy-duty aluminum replacement basket designed for select Pentair U-3 and Hayward SP1070 style skimmer systems. This aluminum pool skimmer basket is built as a durable replacement option for inground pool owners who want a stronger alternative to many standard plastic baskets. The rigid aluminum body helps resist cracking, bending, and warping during daily pool maintenance, while the open-hole design allows water to flow through smoothly as the basket catches leaves, insects, and pool debris. Designed with a 316 stainless steel comfort grip handle, this skimmer basket is easy to lift, remove, and empty, even when filled with wet leaves or debris. The metal handle provides a sturdy grip for routine cleaning and helps make pool maintenance more convenient. This replacement basket is compatible with select Pentair U-3, Hayward SP1070, Hayward SPX1070E, Hayward B-9, and Pentair 08650-0007 style skimmers. Please note that this is not a universal pool skimmer basket. Before ordering, measure your existing basket and confirm the size of your skimmer system. Approximate basket dimensions: Top Outer Diameter: 8-1/8 inches Bottom Diameter: 6.5 inches Height: 5.5 inches For best results, rinse the basket regularly after use and maintain proper pool chemical balance to help preserve the metal finish.
